The long game for peace is a charity sports event where companies get together and support the people of Ukraine. The concept is very simple. Get a team from your company together for a sporty afternoon in the Nordic capitals. The profits from the event go straight to the aid for the Ukrainian people coordinated through Ukrainian event agency professionals. Join the movement of peace!

We all hope that the terrible war in Ukraine would soon come to an end. We fear that this won’t be over soon. The winter is coming and this unprecetended crisis has already turned into a humanitarian catastrophe. The rebuilding of peace in Ukraine, both emotional and concrete will take a long time.
People of Ukraine need your help and support. We also must be resilient in our support and efforts to keep the aid on the agenda. We must all play the long game for peace.

Help that will get where it is needed the most.
As soon as the war started in february 2022 the Ukrainian event agencies together formed the NGO Volunteers Hundred organization. The main mission is to collect the needs for supplies that are most needed in areas davastated and destroyed by the war caused by the Russian agression around the country. https://volunteer100.org/
LIWLIG will source, cordinate and get the most needed supplies to Lviv. From there the NGO Volunteers Hundred will distribute and deliver the help to the areas and families around Ukraine.

What we did last time?
During the summer of 2022 the first ever event of “Pitkä peli” was organized in Finland. The event consisted of 8 company teams and celebrity all-star players got together in a street hockey tournament in Aino Areena in Finland. The game was on and everybody had a good time supporting a good cause. One team consisted of Ukrainan refugees. The event collected around 44k EUR which was the channeled straight to aid and supplies. In July two trucks filled with a weeks food portion for 2200 families entered a warehouse in Lviv, Ukraine.
